Long Story

After the formation of the planet Earth, there came the dinosaurs, then the first mammals, the first humans and in the summer of 1989, I came into the world. Some 13 years later, after discovering chemistry, physics, and mathematics, I also discovered the first compact camera (digital) in my family. Over the time, it became clear what a pivotal moment this was. A few years later I was holding my first digital SLR camera. It should be pointed out here that I am a digital photographer, unenamored of film with a few exceptions.

"I am not saying that photography is the image of the photographer's soul. I am not saying that I am an artist. I am an honest craftsman."

The first year of the Holešovská Regata music festival was a turning point for me. My reportage photographs have been used publicly for the first time. Then other cultural events followed, including a concert by the band Olympic, after which I got to photograph metal concerts in Zlín. After the Winter Masters of Rock festival in 2011, my images appeared in the local Zlín daily newspapers. A few years later, the weekly 5+2 days was founded, I got the chance to improve my skills as a reportage photographer there. Thanks to my friends' and current fellow photographers' excellent training, I got the chance to shoot for this media giant after the merge of the weekly and MAFRA. Occasionally, I shoot for the Zlín supplement of this title. Even more often, however, you will find my photos on the

pages of the monthly magazine Magazín Zlín. Immediately after successfully completing my bachelor's degree at Tomas Bata University in Zlín (no photographer, but a chemist), I started to take photos for Tomas Bata University as well, and I remained faithful to the Faculty of Technology in particular for the next few years as its student and foremost photographer. Today, I have already been photographing for the entire Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
